Two idealistic young Bostonians lead the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, America's first Black regiment in the Civil War. And the soldiers of the 54th Massachusetts Regiment, the first black fighting unit of the American Civil War, are portrayed through period drawings, sketches, paintings and photographs, along with film and additional footage from the motion picture, Glory.
